About

Background

Dr. Eric Uveges, PT, DPT has been a practicing Physical Therapist in the St. Augustine area since 2015. Originally from Baltimore, Maryland, Eric received his Bachelor of Science in Kinesiology from Towson University before moving to Florida to pursue his Doctor of Physical Therapy from The University of St. Augustine in 2013. While at the University of St Augustine, Eric completed advanced coursework with an emphasis on hands-on techniques for treating joint and soft tissue dysfunctions of the spine as well as the upper and lower extremities.

With the ever-changing landscape of medical research, Eric considers continuing education to be a priority in order to better serve the needs of his patients. Since graduating, he has pursued advanced clinical training in pain science and holds certifications in Myofascial Trigger Point Dry Needling, Functional Movement Assessment (SFMA-I), and Spinal Manipulation (SMT-1).

Outside of physical therapy, Eric enjoys spending time with his wife and two children, honing his cooking skills, maintaining an active lifestyle, and exploring all of the beautiful sites St. Augustine has to offer.

His treatment philosophy is centered around in-depth evaluation to establish a personalized treatment plan tailored to help his clients achieve their goals. Eric draws from his diverse experience working with a variety of patients from youth athletes and weekend warriors to Special Forces operators and Navy SEALs.
